The caste of medicine

Ravish Kumar is one of the funniest people I know. He is also one of the most most talented journalists I know.
He wrote a piece on his blog about how in Bihar, a chemist can "look at the prescription and tell the caste of the doctor" -- an irony-filled piece about how caste plays into the health sector there. What happened next -- including a death threat to a person quoted there -- is detailed here in this extract by Mr. Avinash Das in Mohalla, the most popular Hindi blog.

Interesting!!. I read many blogs and somewhere I read that Bihari journalists do reporting based on their caste. Is it true? They write positive of their own caste and negative of others. Is this article also result of such reporting? I am curious to know as that's what people talk out of Bihar.
Why can't you Biharis work together and with all castes and do something better rather than fighting caste issues and settling score in media.
Ravish and you both are brahmin. Hope you guys are not doing "Jaati kee news"
